Evening Series Meetings: Norman Family La Leche League holds regular evening Series Meetings on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Evening meetings for July, August, September, and October will be held at 1625 Woodcreek Court, which is in a subdivision off Lindsey and 12th Street S.E. Attendees will need to park on the street in the cul-de-sac
Morning Series Meetings: Norman Family La Leche League meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10:00 for our regular series meetings. Except for April and December, the meetings are located in the Education Center at Norman Regional Hospital, Norman, OK. Please contact a Leader for the location of the meeting in April or December.
Enrichment Meetings: second Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Enrichment meetings are open to the entire family! Yes, that's right, dads can come too! (Evening Enrichment meetings coming soon!) Locations and topics vary; please contact a Leader for more information.
Accommodations: The meeting room is quite comfortable with a couch, chairs and room to sit on the floor. It also includes a toy collection with toys safe for infants and toddlers. Snacks and refreshments are provided at each meeting.

Meeting Information:
One of the strengths of La Leche League meetings is the diversity of the mothers in attendance. Mothers have different backgrounds and different socioeconomic and family situations, yet we all share the desire to breastfeed our babies. We respect the experiences that all mothers bring. La Leche League believes that mothers know their own babies best; you are the expert on your family.
We welcome women and children of all ages at our meetings. For the comfort of nursing mothers, we ask that fathers only attend enrichment meetings - regular series meetings are for mothers, babies and children.

If you have questions between meetings or need a friendly ear, La Leche League Leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers accredited by La Leche League International to give information, support and important encouragement to mothers who desire to breastfeed their babies. You do not have to be a member of LLL to attend meetings. However, membership supports LLL locally, statewide, and nationally. Your dues of $40 also entitle you to full access to our great lending library, a subscription to the LLL magazine New Beginnings, as well as a 10% discount on LLL catalog items.
You can pay for your LLL membership by sending a check to Rachel (email privately for her mailing address) or by giving it to one of the Leaders at a Norman Family LLL Meeting. And now you can even pay with a credit card by paying through Paypal.
Just click on the Paypal graphic above and follow the instructions. It will send your payment of $41.50 to LLL of Norman. $40 is your membership and $1.50 is the Paypal fee.

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to New Beginnings and a discount on items purchased from LLLI. Membership is not required to call a Leader or to attend meetings.
