La Leche League of Coventry, Connecticut
La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.
La Leche League of Coventry offers support and information through:
- Mother-to-Mother support
- Monthly meetings
- Telephone help from accredited Leaders
- Lending library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding and related subjects
Local Meetings
A continuing series of informal discussion meetings is offered.
MEETINGS are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Prince of Peace Church, 10 N. River Rd., corner of N. River Rd. and Route 31.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
