AI website (Further Information about Appreciative Inquiry) Links to Handouts The TEAM Meeting began Wednesday evening using Appreciative Inquiry. AI is a positive change tool for discovering what is healthy and working well and then building on success. It begins with person-to-person conversations that encourage story-telling and focus on each person’s experiences, and then expands to larger and larger groups recognizing and appreciating the effective things they already do. Then participants collectively decide what they want to carry into the future. One way that LLL Leaders are currently using AI is illustrated by the report below: At TEAM 2004, a small group met to talk about ways we might use AI in our LAD work (there is an email work group discussing this in depth—let Alison Parkes or Karin Gausman, (KarinLLL@aol.com) know if you are interested in participating, or if you have ideas to relay to the group).
