About La Leche League in the United States

La Leche League in the United States promotes the importance of breastfeeding in the healthy development of the mother and baby. Accredited Leaders and volunteers participate through Groups and activities all over the country and all year long to help women through mother-to-mother support, education, information, and encouragement.

LLL in the United States supports the philosophy of mothering through breastfeeding as presented in THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING and defined by La Leche League International.
