Bid Slip Auction

Ten items were listed on a poster by letter (A-J.) Each person at the auction got a printed list that gave a detailed description of the item. To bid, the person would fill in a slip of paper with their name, the letter of the item and their bid amount. Volunteers would collect the bid sheets and post the high bid on the poster with sticky notes. After 45 minutes the high bidder won the item. There were several sets of item that night. If used at a LLL event, you could assign the mothers numbers as they signed in. This would simplify the bidding process. Having only 10 items up for bid at one time makes it easier for the mothers and for the volunteers running the auction.
