Silent Auction Donations
Some Groups prefer to solicit donations for their silent auction with face-to-face contact, with a promise that the donated item or gift certificate would be highly visible with the businesses name on the day of the event. For the silent auction, many Groups just put a sheet of paper out with the item name and suggested starting price and people bid them up, with highest bidder getting the item at close of auction.
