Q: The WBWC money is split up among many LLL entities. What are these entities and what is the money used for?

A: Explanation of percentages:

80% Group: To be used by Groups to further support their needs and to help increase LLL Mission in their community through continuing education for Leaders and for outreach events.

5% Grants: To be held by the Divisions in the WBWC Grants bank account and dispersed as grants.  Leaders, with ideas for projects that will further the mission of La Leche League, may fill out the Joint Projects Grant Application, due by March 31st.  Grants will be announced by May 1st.  Further information can be found at http://www.lllusa.org/admin/opportunities.php (password protected site; use LLL USA passwords) or contact lllusa@juno.com

5% Expenses: To pay the administrative costs of the event, including prizes and postage and the WBWC assessment for LLL USA's cost sharing.

10% Groups' choice: Groups may designate the remaining 10% to the LLL entity of their choice - for example the Helpline, the Area, etc.
