Q: I’ve never organized an event before? Where do I start?

A: Register your Group on the World Breastfeeding Week Web site - it's free. Then download the WBW Kit and print out the forms you think you might need. You may purchase a paper copy of the Kit if desired. The Event Planner's Checklist (in PDF, Word or Rich Text Format) will be especially helpful in giving you an overview of how to plan an event. Look through the Fundraising Ideas to get ideas of various kinds of fundraisers. Go back to the other Leaders and Group members and discuss what would work for you, with your resources, and in your community. Contact the AWC for additional suggestions.
