ANNOUNCING AN UN-BAKE SALE

SAVE MONEY…DO NOT buy gas for your car to get to the store; DO NOT purchase ingredients; DO NOT use kilowatts to heat up your oven, and more to cool your kitchen; DO NOT fuel up your car to take baked items to the sale; DO NOT buy baked items (which were baked by the person buying yours).

SAVE YOUR ENERGY…DO NOT drive, shop, pre-heat, measure, sift, beat, stir, remove children’s little hands from the batter, grease, and flour, protect baked goods from the family, struggle out of the car, find your keys, place toddler in car seat and drive to and from the sale.

INSTEAD!!! Relax in your most comfortable chair; place your purse or checkbook and pen next to you; remove your shoes; put up your feet; think warm and generous thoughts; place in the enclosed envelope what you would have spent by participating in a real bake sale. Be sure to make checks payable to “LLL of ___________________.

Now…Lean back, close your eyes and treat yourself to some peaceful time alone! The check you send will help your local Group provide many needed materials and services.
