One Group gets a bunch of local businesses to donate items for a ‘side walk sale’ type of event. It helps LLL raise money and it’s good PR for the business. The Group asks each business to mail out 100 postcards to their local clientele to advertise the event, and that has helped to get plenty of people to show up.
