2005 World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Prize Winners  

Grand Prize Winner : Congratulations to Jamie Failla, LLL of Annapolis, Maryland. As the Grand Prize winner Jamie received a $1500 educational scholarship to the 2007 LLLI Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Jamie is obviously a serious fundraiser, having won in 2004 as well.

1st Prizes Winners : Congratulations to Brenda Bandy, LLL of Manhattan, Kansas and Lissa Welles, LLL of Jersey City, New Jersey. They are the 1st Prize winners and each received a $500 educational scholarship to the 2007 LLLI Conference.

The Eastern United States Division awarded free registrations to the 2006 Leader Development Seminars. The United States Western Division awarded four Leader Educational Scholarships. Contact the Division Finance Administrator/ Coordinator for details.

Random Drawings

All who participated were eligible for prizes donated by WBWC Sponsors. Gulfport/Long Beach, MS, won a La Leche League library worth $100. Their library was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina, so this was an especially fortuitous win. Twenty-five other US Groups were chosen to have a random drawing of their participants to win the other donated prizes.
