Membership in La Leche League can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL of New York, and LLL International. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive an electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Chemung Valley, New York

La Leche League welcomes all women, together with their babies and children, who are interested in learning more about breastfeeding and mothering.
In bad weather, our meeting is cancelled when Elmira City Schools are closed.

Healthcare professionals are welcome to attend meetings, please call the Leader in advance.

Meeting Information

LLL of Chemung Valley meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, with occasional exceptions for the holidays,
10AM-11:30PM at The Park Church, 208 W. Gray St., Elmira, NY. Driving directions to The Park Church.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
