La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. La Leche League is recognized internationally as the world's foremost authority on breastfeeding. Our mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.
Meeting Information
We are currently meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM with refreshments following. Meetings are held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 398 Chestnut St. Union N.J. ( on the corner of Chestnut St. and Washington Ave.). Enter building through the glass doors on Chestnut St.
We also periodically host special meetings (Toddler meetings, Couples meetings, and Enrichment meetings). Contact a Leader for more information.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
